Aqua Therapy Program Now Available
Aquatic Therapy is being offered for children and adult clients on Wed. and Friday afternoons.
The benefits of Aquatic Therapy include:
- Hydrostatic Pressure which provides sensory input to the entire body and helps strengthen respiration to expand the lungs against the pressure of the water.
- Bouyancy to help reduce the stress of weight bearing through the joints and reduces the effects of gravity while performing exercises.
- Strengthening muscles as the body moves through the resistance of water to perform exercises and activities.
- Relaxation of tight and spastic muscles in the warm water to improve range of motion and decrease muscle tone.
- Improve balance as you are working in a dynamic environment with continuous adjustments to maintain any given posture or position.
- Fun for all ages to gain all the benefits of exercise while working and playing in the water!
